Learn about cancelling an order, requesting a refund, and returning items purchased from Bookworms Pakistan.
Before dispatch: You may cancel your order within 6 hours of placing it. Simply email us at bookwormspakistan@gmail.com or reach out to us via Instagram or Whatsapp with your order number and subject line "CANCEL REQUEST". We will confirm the cancellation and issue a full refund via the original payment method.
After dispatch: Once your order has been handed over to the courier, it cannot be cancelled. If you cancel the order after dispatch or refuse to receive it, we reserve the right to deny you service in future.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for any of the following reasons:
- Change of mind
- Wrong size / edition chosen
- Duplicate purchase
- Gift selection errors
- Minor cosmetic imperfections (e.g., shelf wear, slight corner bumps) that do not affect readability
We also do not offer exchanges — even if you wish to swap for another title or edition. Please double-check your cart before checkout.

We take extra care in packing, but if you receive a book that is physically damaged (torn pages, water damage, missing pages) and the damage was clearly caused before delivery (not due to courier mishandling after receipt), or if we have shipped the wrong title/edition entirely (not a minor cover variation), then:
You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at bookwormspakistan@gmail.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the damage or the incorrect book
- A brief description of the issue
We will review your claim. If approved (at our sole discretion), we will offer either:
- A store credit equal to the purchase price (valid for 90 days), or
- A partial refund (at our discretion), minus any shipping costs already incurred.
We do not offer full cash refunds or free replacements — the decision rests solely with Bookworms Pakistan.
